The worlds largest island national park. Mist shrouded rocky peaks, rainforest covered bays and white sandy beaches, it looks like a set from ‘Jurassic Park’.
The western side channel mangrove and seagrass beds provide a home for the mysterious dugong or sea cow. One of the Islands peaks is the final resting place of the ‘Texas Terror’ a World War 2 Liberator bomber.
